Once upon a time there lived a King called Minos.Whenever he was bored he would attack Athens (a city across the sea). The King of Athens got fed up of this nonsense and offered King Minos a deal, the deal was if Minos stopped attacking Athens the Athenian King would send seven boys and girls to be eaten by Minotaur (a monster half Human and half Bull) in nine years .Minos agreed to this.Nine years had past very swiftly and the Athenian King knew it was time to send the children Theseus (the kings son) said to his father that he would pretend to be one of those children that got eaten, but in reality kill Minotaur his father said no son how do you think you can defeat that horrible beast Theseus disagreed to this and set of, along with all the other children. As soon as they arrived King Minos said you can do whatever you wish to do this evening because tomorrow you will be dead.Theseus was rather curious to see what his room looked like, so he visited it as soon as he got in a strange note slipped under the door it said

    Dear Theseus
I can help you escape form the Minotaur but you will have to accept this deal,if you drop me of to an island where my beauty will be admired I will help you to kill the Minotaur, meet me at the gates for the maze (the Minotaur lives in it).

    From Aidrene

as soon as Theseus read this he hurried to the gates and there he saw Aidrene loitering around. Here is a string and a sword go into the center of the maze and there you will find Minotaur tie this string to the door so you can follow it back and not get lost.So Theseus set of and found the monster he attacked viciously and eventually killed him,Theseus followed the string back and found Aidrene and told her now you got to fulfill the deal.Theseus agreed and took her to an island everybody stared at her.Theseus stopped at an island Naxos for some food supplies.

  2. PANDORA’S BOX

A long time ago, there lived brothers called Prometheus and Epimetheus. They were kind and were best friends and gods.

One day, Prometheus did something which angered Zeus, he gave man fire. Zeus tied Prometheus to a large stone and ordered a vulture to every day eat Prometheus’s liver because it would grow back.

Zeus told one of his servants to give him a daughter to marry Epimetheus. He went to work and returned with Zeus’s daughter. Her name was Pandora.

Once the marriage was finished, Pandora was gifted a box which said ‘DO NOT OPEN’. A key was attached to the note.

The next day, Pandora, bitten by curiosity, opened the box. Inside it all the worlds’ bad things-in a form of bugs-flew out. Pandora closed the box too late. She started to cry.

She opened the box again and a bug called hope flew out.
