Literacy homework.

Take a regular household item and using the features of persuasive writing, write a piece persuading somebody to buy it. Consider the audience and what would appeal to that demographic. Who might think about buying this product? How will you convince them? Remember to use some of the persuasive techniques we used in class: questions, imperatives, sentence openers, exaggeration.
What could you say about an ordinary bar of soap in order to persuade someone to buy it? Or some lemonade, a pencil or a hat? The choice of household item is up to you!

      I am going to buy some Fairy right away! Well done, you used a good combination of rhetorical questions, imperatives and factual information to persuade. Make sure you check for question marks and try to avoid repetition.

    My household item is a couch. The couch is wonderful surely you know that ? When you buy your first house I would recommend buying a couch to go with it . Its way better than sitting on the rock hard ground. Its really comfy and its as smooth as a baby's bottom you can take nap's on it and sit and watch TV with a friend.So the choice is yours are you going to buy a couch or not? Because only a fool wouldn't buy one. When you buy it recommend it to your friends and family because millions of people have bought and recommended and gave a good report about them.

    My household item is a TV:
    Have you ever tried such a good item like this?This extraordinary TV is the best TV known to man kind.This TV also brings all the goods such as your favourite shows on replay!Everybody knows that only a fool wouldn't have a TV like this.Without a TV there would be no fun in your house! It's way better than staring in to space and having nothing to watch.You will also be missing out on the latest gossip.Don't you want to increase the population?Don't you just wanna sit comfortably on a sofa and peacefully watch your favourite show? I have come to the end of my reasons therefore these are all the reasons why you should buy a TV.
